Moda Candy and Miss Rosie Patterns

We have some great new patterns by Miss Rosie that use those wonderful little 2 1/2" squares from Moda!  Most patterns include at least two sizes and a pincushion pattern!  

Here's one we made from Kansas Trouble fabrics. It measures 10 x 12. It's called Drop.  Candy packets run $4 and most patterns are $7.

She's on her way!  After months of training, Pam and her friends left early Wednesday morning for Mackinaw. She has posted a few pictures on Everlasting Stitches Facebook page. Check it out. Last text received from her was from beautiful Torch Lake. Way to go!! We are so proud of her.

Kansas Troubles New Quilt

Here is a great quilt that was quick to make.  We used the postcard pattern called Cloud Nine and a jelly roll from the new Kansas Troubles fabric.  We have three kits available in the store so come in quick if you'd like one.  Margaret did the awesome quilt in the store.

Journey to the Past Shop Hop Quilt

Here it is!  Our quilt for the Journey to the Past shop hop.  The hop will be held July 26 & 27, 2013.  There are four shops:  Everlasting Stitches - Holt, The Hen House - Charlotte, Jennifer's Quilt Shop - Pinckney, and Quality Quilting in Ann Arbor.  All fabrics are Jo Morton Fabrics.  If you love reproduction fabrics, this is the hop for you!  Cost of your passport is $5.00.  You will be able to purchase three blocks from each store.  A limited number of finishing kits are available from each shop.  Our quilt measures approximately 60 x 74.

  Here is a new pattern that we got in and Pam made up a few kits with our new MSU fabric.  I think this kit is around $66!  What a deal.  Makes up really quick.  Quantities are limited.

Shirtings & PB&J

Several new things in the store in the last couple of weeks.  A new fabric line from Moda called PB&J.  Lovely colors and prints.  Also, we packaged up a few of our favorite shirtings and Jo Mortons new blues for you.

FOX

I know this isn't really quilt related but couldn't help but share.  I saw this little guy out on the sidewalk this morning just before I came to work.  He had found the dead bunny at the end of our drive a couple of days ago and decided to come back for seconds.  Only problem was that he stood in the middle of the busy four lane road.  Cars stopped but I'm afraid he might not be so lucky next time.  BEAUTIFUL animal!

Minke, Dinosaurs and Big Trucks

We received a lot of new fabrics in last week.  Pam ordered several different Minke fabrics for those of you that like to use them on the back of your quilts.  There is a green, yellow, pink and a wonderful midnight blue.  We also got some cute children's fabrics.  For the boys we have some big CAT truck fabric.  For the little boys we have some cute dinosaur fabrics.  Come check them out.

Girl Sports

Here's some new fabrics we got in last week.  The first is the new Blackbird Designs fabric.  The colors are wonderful.  The second is some new girl sports fabrics.  These are really hard to find.  We have softball, soccer, and basketball.  They are flying out the door!!

New book by Dawn Heese.  She has a few quilts (the rabbit one on the cover, adorable!), there is a butterfly quilt and then some cross stitch projects.  Add another to my bucket list!!

Look at these wonderful new fabrics from Minick and Simpson.  Lots of indigo, some checks and ticking!!  We've been thinking of a couple of patterns to use this fabric in.  It's so hard to decide!

Beach Bag

We got this adorable Beach Bag Pattern in.  It is simply huge!  It measures approximately 25" x 18" finished.  Wow!!  We have some great Adirondack chair fabric that would be adorable for this bag.  Put in some flip flop fabric for the lining.  LOVE it!

Moda Candy

Have you seen the new Moda Candy?  These are 2 1/2" squares.  There are 42 in a collection just like the charm squares.  We have several available in the shop.
